The GTK website and all material therein is protected by copyright laws, other applicable laws and regulations and agreements. All rights are reserved unless otherwise stated in relation to any material. The use of public material, such as press releases, is permitted as long as its source is mentioned.

Principles of distributing and pricing of geographic material.

Usage rights of digital map data in the web distribution system of GTK. These terms of use are applied to all applicable material, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.

The accuracy and other quality factors of GTK's geographical data vary between materials depending on factors, such as age, accuracy of base maps, other source material and individual observations as well as methods of location, modelling, interpretation and production. Geological maps and other geographical material contain interpreted information, and are partly based on the opinions of the compiler of the information.

GTK is not responsible for any damages resulting from errors or deficiencies in the geographical materials or web distribution. The user of the material should familiarise themselves with descriptions of the material and contact GTK if needed. Information on the use of the materials in other contexts is also available from contact persons mentioned under different topics on the pages.

Use of log information

Log information about visits to the website is only used as statistics and for the development of the GTK web service. No information about individual visits will be given to third parties.
