Turvepaikka Peat Research Reports
All research reports on individual mires are put together into municipality-specific reports, which are published in GTK’s Peat Research Report series. Information on mires in one municipality may be contained in several reports if the research has been carried out over a number of years. So far, about 400 municipality-specific mire reports have been published.
To view the reports, click on the drop-down menu below or the Peat Map Service. The latter can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Service’ button below.
For more detailed information about mires, such as maps, profiles and laboratory data (ash and sulphur content, calorific value, dry density, etc.), contact GTK.
